For one of our client based in Geneva, we are looking for a
SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER (M/W)
Missions:
- Design and implement comprehensive network solutions that ensure scalability, robustness, and security
- Maintain up-to-date network architecture documentation
- Leverage cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure to enhance network capabilities
- Install, configure, and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls (Palo Alto, Huawei, Cisco)
- Ensure network performance and reliability through continuous monitoring and maintenance
- Administer security protocols on network devices to meet security standards
- Perform periodic security audits and lead proactive network security enhancements
- Manage complex network configurations including MPLS and BGP for optimal routing and connectivity
- Lead the transition and management of IPv6 infrastructure
- Oversee DNS and other network services to maximize efficiency and accuracy
- Direct network-related projects, overseeing timelines, resources, and communications
- Mentor junior network engineers and promote a collaborative team culture
- Provide expert-level support for escalated network issues
- Conduct routine network system upgrades including patches, service packs, and security configurations
Profile:
- Swiss residency mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in network engineering, with specific skills in Palo Alto, Huawei, Cisco, MPLS, AWS, Azure, and BGP.
- Strong expertise in network security, DNS management, and IPv6.
- Comprehensive understanding of network protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, OSPF, etc.
- Experience leading significant network projects and guiding teams.
